We’re Glad you Stopped by and
Hope you found our Website informative and simple to navigate. All pages
contain links to contact us by email. We hope to include a contact form here
again, but in the mean time, standard email is the only way, separate from
“Snail-Mail”.
Any recommendations or helpful hints
to improve the website or our services is welcome.
We hope you will stop bye for another
visit in the future.
Thank you again.

Please Remember:
Most little
mushrooms that are poisonous will make you sick and make you wish you were
dead, but there are a few that are small and totally unforgiving. They will
steel your life from you and make the experience very unpleasant.
Just 1 bite from the wrong
one could kill you or destroy your body in the most hideous way.
Please be careful.
If you would like to submit a photograph
of a Mushroom, Please send it US Mail or attach it to an Email.
Feel free to contact us anytime if you
ever have any questions of any kind.

! ! WARNING NOTICE ! !
Most recently a special concern has
arisen. Please, if you wish to send in samples for identification, they must be
dry and completely sealed in some kind of plastic bag or container to prevent
and limit contamination of the environment or the specimens. Any photographs
included, of specimens while Fresh, would be helpful and in most cases,
absolutely necessary in order to properly identify the specimens or other
requests where samples are not possible.
A specimen from North Carolina recently received (early
2001), was found to be profoundly leaking spores from the shipping container,
leaving a trail of spores across the Country. Similar to puffballs, the
Scleroderma is filled with 100’s of thousands of spores and can really
leave a mess if not contained. It posed little threat but was very messy and we
have them growing around the landscape near the shipping & receiving
entrance now. Although this happened long before the anthrax incidents, with
the increased concern after September 11, 2001, it would be advisable to take
better precautions for the transport and shipment of all specimens to avoid any
disruptive scares.
Please, let’s be part of the solution, not part of
the problem.
Thank You for Your Attention to these Concerns.

Founder’s Note:
We offer Our sincerest apologies for
damaging the Trust so freely given to us by Mushroom Magic through referrals of
their customers during a devastating time when our Home was lost due to an
untimely death of the owner, followed by a financially crippling move
compounded be a serious surgery, recovery from which was prolonged by severe
complications, which further delayed hundreds of orders. We've made up all past
orders, but we want you all to know we are truly sorry and very grateful for
all the patience and faith. Thank You All !!!
As Each New Mushroom Season begins,
again some orders will fall a little behind, but rest assured they all will be
filled as soon as we can. There is a lot to collecting and identification of
the hundreds of specimens we get.
