All Chambers are Warranted Sterile until Delivery
and must be immediately reported if
contaminated or
vacuum seal of lid has leaked. Immediate
resterilization can save the Chamber and can be done by heating in a pressure
cooker to 16 psi for 30 to 45 minutes or simply returning it to MTI. A replacement
will be immediately shipped on receipt. Broken hermetic or silicon seals will
void all Warranties or Return Acceptability.
For detailed
steps - there are a number of Books on Mycology available. The simplest method is to add Spores to sterile agar dish, vile, tube,
or water for direct transfer to Chambers by syringe (risky), incubate, then transfer to Chambers, for spawn or Jar fruiting. Apply spawn directly or blend
in sterile water for pouring onto desired area you want Shrooms to
grow. Fruiting can take as long as 1 month to 1 year after you inoculate, in
the wild. Jar
contents can also be removed for terrarium fruiting off block. Some species are believed to require wild conditions to grow
and some have developed symbiotic relationships with trees and other plants.
Not only can some be grown in jars, on logs & compost, but they can also be grown in flower beds, on
bark, in lawns and neighboring forests, open lots and even parks. Especially
where moisture is abundant.
The Trick is to Determine and Duplicate the Needs
of Each Species.
